I mentioned before that DC nearly had an undefeated cycle cross season.  He added 1 more – not win – to his record today by placing 2nd at the season ending Le Frost Cross, held ironically enough in 60 degree temps.  I can’t crack on him too hard though because he raced the race on his carbon fat bike, and only lost in the final sprint to the line!  That’s a fair amount of extra weight to be moving around, and that is not taking account the massive friction those tires generate.  So hats off to DC for pushing himself and working hard for the sake of a challenge.
