Thanksgiving Day Persistance
I awoke at 6:30 on Thanksgiving morning to the sound of rain. I checked the radar and saw that we were going to be doused for at least the next 2 hours. That was a problem as I had a group ride set up for 8:00 with up to 12 other riders. I quickly sent out a message to all of the parties involved that I was postponing the start of the ride until 9:00 as it appeared we would be into good weather by then. As luck would have it the rain slowed, and then stopped, on my drive to Kensington. We were wheels on the ground at 9:00 sharp, and were able to get in our 3:00 before we scattered to our Holiday commitments.
